Well, it is official. No one living is shopping at Sears, so they are taking steps to reach out to a marginalized population by marketing their products to Zombies. The funny part is, I'm not kidding. Take a look.
Sears is advertising that their Kenmore washers will take the brain stains out of almost any fabric, and they even offer shape-up shoes that will help you tone while you lumber. There is a handy gift giving guide to assist you in finding the perfect gift that your Zombie will love and drool over for ages. In fact, if the actual Undead person needed to shop for themselves, there is even an option to translate the site into Zombian, for easy understanding.
So, no more jokes about how only old people shop at Sears. If you are already dead and want to indulge in some well-deserved retail therapy, know that Sears has you covered. They advertise that their staff has been well trained in the needs of the undead and even can customize your gift choices based on factors like how you prefer your brains, and what sort of Zombie you are. On the site you can even follow their undead Twitter feed, providing of course, that you still have enough fingers to operate a smart phone. What's more, you can even create your own undead friend right on the Sears website.
What do you think about the new marketing campaign. I am not sure what brought this change about, but surprisingly, it makes me think that they have a great sense of humor. I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
