3. Microsoft OneNote - Microsoft had turned many of their standard products into mobile apps, one of which Microsoft OneNote software. The app captures text and images, lets you make charts and diagrams, and allows for syncing between devices. Microsoft OneNote also connects with Microsoft SkyDrive for cloud storage of data. The app is available for Android and iPhone.

4. Write by Stylus Labs - If you like mobile apps that are simple and straightforward, then you may enjoy taking notes with the Write by Stylus Labs app. This app allows users to take handwritten notes and has basic word processing features such as cut, copy, and paste. You can customize the page size, insert bookmarks, and add images. Notes can be exported in HTML, SVG, or PDF format. This app is great for those who prefer minimalistic tools.
